MUSIC CHOICES

What I discovered from my research is that music plays a massive part in creating a specific mood and atmospheres within a movie trailer. You will not feel one mood throughout a trailer and many will be portrayed during different scenes shown. I have decided to use three different soundtracks, one as my introduction piece, my second to introduce and emotion and my third to portray achievement and acceptance of my character.

Soundtrack 1: Adian Coker - Suicide Drive.
I want to use this piece of music as my introduction as it is fast paced and portrays a dark atmosphere through the use of rap and its grime genre. The scenes this piece will play will be when my character is facing challenges at home ( introduction to the character, running away from enemies etc.)

Soundtrack 2: Chris Brown - Don't Judge Me.
I will use this piece of music to create emotion and make the audience feel sympathy for the main character due to its slow pace and simplicity. Scenes where this piece of music will be edited into will be when my main character travels to his University, collides with class mates etc, meets a possible love? etc.

Soundtrack 3: Kid Ink - Walk in the Club.
My trailer will end using this soundtrack, the fast pace, energetic rap track will play during scenes such as the trail, and other scenes portraying my main characters acceptance within the team and team members and change of life experiences.
